The right hire is a high-slope learner with an interest in clean energy systems, climate negative infrastructure, and waste. Waste is a complex industry, and we’re first and foremost looking for high-slope learners who can also lead teams through ambiguity with focus. • Write product requirement documents (PRDs), develop and prioritize features, and work closely with Engineering and Operations to assess feasibility, adjust scope, and schedule development.
  • Effectively manage the product roadmap across both short and long-term feature development and multiple complex projects in a hybrid hardware-software development environment, reprioritizing product backlogs as necessary. While AMP is interested in a more software-focused hire, we are open to candidates from either background.
  • Help manage and implement AMP’s R&D strategy, including new technology integration and grant applications and programs. AMP has 4 active DOE awards and multiple exciting collaborations to establish the future of waste.

Ensure Product-Market Fit

  • Develop strong understanding of market and customer needs through customer visits and interviews. Understand customer segmentation and use cases. Evangelize the customer, and drive company-wide understanding of market and customer context. Synthesize these findings into new ways to establish project models that profitably direct waste resources into carbon-negative products, biofuels, carbon removal, and more.
